All in all very few positives. Liverpool bias aside, Gerrard and Johnson were probably our best 2 performers. Lennon done ok but needs to be a bit more composed when he gets in crossing positions; a couple of times he cut the ball back to nobody.

If Barry's fit for the next game then I'd be very tempted to play Rooney up on his own and tell Barry to sit in front of the back 4 and allow Lampard and Gerrard to bomb on.
