That's a good point, why the **** to ITV have to repeat a goal/goal attempt about 20 times before going back to the match? it's so ******** irritating

Did anybody not notice Gerrard get skinned twice which let him get the shot away in the first place? Gerrard should never have allowed the shot to be taken.

This is what’s great about the world cup, everyone becomes a football manager and the press rolled into one. Don’t you just love it.

We’re no worse than anybody so far. It’s not the end of the world. We have two games to qualify for the next stage and we’ll do it. Those that expect big wins and goals can’t have seen the early stages of a world cup before.

Agree. We should be able to pick ourselves up and give the other two teams a comfortable kicking.

(with Joe Hart in goal please) :p

The usual England failures -

2 of the best midfielders in world being bypassed for the last 25mins.
Two wingers who can't cross a ball
No-one "wants" the ball (how many times did ashley cole, john terry etc have to try and get people to move before just hoofing it upfield when no-one did)
Lack of passion (bar Rooney who'd keep running on broken legs for England)
No-one willing to cross it into the box and able to hit an England player (bar Johnson who played well). Instead we'll just take pot luck long range shots.

2 big suprises, Heskey played well as a holding player (shame he blasted his 1 on 1 straight at the keeper) and Johnson who had a really good game both on the overlap (as usual) but defensively as well.

Even with passion rooney was terrible today. Wether he had supply or not, his positioning and ability to keep the ball were atrocious

Great players step up and make the difference, end of. Rooney was poor, anyone who isn't insanely United biased could see that and as our key player we look to him to make the difference, which he didn't.

I agree Rooney didn't have a brilliant game, but the dedication he gives the England squad is really easy to see. His fellow team mates need to follow his footsteps.

are you completely delusional??? you think Rooney had a good game? and that Heskey did well.

I suggest you take some Cyanide... might do you a favour or two!!!
