Amazes me how quickly people turning on Rooney who for years has been the most committed player to the English cause.

Rooney is very inconsistent and any Utd fan will tell you that. People will always use this injury thing an excuse. He is just playing ****.

Well we've been told several times that Rooney is perfectly fit. If he wasn't, he shouldn't have started.

Anyone who has watched Rooney since his injury can tell he hasnt been the same player. Im not saying its all down to a lingering injury but the lack of playing due to it and he does seem to get out of shaper quicker than most players in that kind of situation.
