After watching the replay with Torres, I have to say... what a ****. He fell over like a girl and then stayed on the floor for bloody ages holding his face. Pretty fed up of footballers falling to the floor over pretty much nothing.

What I hate is that its never brought up with players during interviews or whatever. Personally I'd be embarrassed if I fell over and pretended Mike Tyson had just laid me out every time someone invaded my personal space... in a contact sport.

its obvious he was looking for the guy to get sent off. if the guy had tried to break him in half fair enough, but he was a sheer disappointment today. hopefully now somebody makes a crunching tackle on him now and gets away with it.

ive said this before, every player dives and cheats, and its a disgrace, fifa really should investigate all these players and hand out large fines and bans.
 
Oh and i think for the first time in this WC i actually saw 2 very hot chicks...one was spanish with a chilean lass...both jumping up and down...in fact the camera panned to them a few times during the game...the Chilean one was simply too hot, she was wearing a number 9 shirt...shame its cold down in SA as it would have been nice to see some more skimpily dressed women around...most of them are all wrapped up nice and warm or trying to:p....

Cant wait for the next WC in Brazil...should see some hot Brazilian women baring almost everything:D
 
Aye, Can't wait for the World Cup to "go home" to Brasil!

Torres didn't have a good game, he just doesn't look fit and in the right frame of mind.
 
WC 2014 in Brazil is going to be awesome.

The Chilean player definitely caught his heel, but the way Torres went down and stayed down for the best part of a minute, if not more, was disgusting.

He didn't touch him, and it's clear to see that he tripped himself up.

I honestly can't see how anyone can say the Chile player touched him, especially with those two GIFs that clearly show he doesn't...

You mean those two, low res, fuzzy GIFs?

I watched in proper HD, from god knows how many different angles during the game, it was never ever questioned that they didn't make contact.

His right knee clips Torres' right heel as he runs across and flicks it into his left foot and the Chilean player stumbles slightly as a result. After that there's no doubt that Torres play acted and they way he lay motionless on the edge of the box until the ball went out of play about a minute later was an absolute disgrace.
 
I just hope we see the same disgust and anger if an England player does the same today, even more so if its in the box and gives us a penalty which wins us the match. :)

They are both high quality enough for anyone with half an eye sight to see that they did not make contact.

Torres has thrown his leg against his other to make it look like there was, there is no way there was contact to make that.

Absolutely insane.

EDIT: To the above, in my first post seconds after that happened I asked if Torres had been learning from Steve G how to do it ;)
