World Cup Bets

I've been having my worst run of luck ever, I'm due a couple of wins today :p

Two days in a row last minute goals have cost me £45 and £60.
 
Did I mention I backed Switzerland at 250/1 e-w before the tournament? I had a sneaky feeling someone like them would cause a massive upset, and they go and beat Spain! Even I didn't expect THAT big a shock! 250/1 is looking huge now :)

Did you see the goal? Skill had nothing to do with it and thus you can't read anything into their future performances from one extremely lucky goal.
That said, I've been saying that it's going to be an underdog that wins it. Ivory Coast was my pretournament shout.
 
On another note, my bet for today is £20 on Argentina (1/3) and Nigeria (5/6) - Nigeria aren't amazing but Greece were so so awful against S.Korea.
 
Wooo, nice 4-1 win for my first bet today, now I have either a draw and a draw for the next two games, or a nigeria win and a france and mexico draw to achieve to increace my £1.50 betfred account and get me back in the betting game :) No more money is coming from my bank so hope is all I can go on atm

Did you watch the game? They nullified Spain for 90 minutes and more than equalled one of the favourites and current European champions who've only lost about 1 game in their last 50 (besides yesterday). Nothing wrong with Switzerland yesterday and I bet Spain would have killed for a goal like Switzerland's.

Also, they almost scored one of the goals of the tournament if it wasn't for the post
 
Do you think Spain topping Group H is worth a punt?

I know they just lost but, if Chile beat Switzerland, and Spain beat Chile & Honduras, so long as Spain rack up enough goals they will top Group H on Goal Difference.
 
What a nightmare I had today! Tomorrow's flutters as follows:

Lampard first goalscorer
Draw HT England FT
Draw HT Germany FT
USA and Slovenia to draw
 
Won £32 on Greece winning today.

Also just signed up with 888 for the free £20 deal, stuck it all on Mesut Ozil (GER) to score in both halves @ 33/1 ! (probably fail cos they're gonna bring him off and rest him, nothing to lose though I guess).
