ive placed about £200 worth of bets, ive won about £200 from the ones that have came in so far and i still have £110 worth of bets active.

so im evens with £110 worth of bets for free. if they all come in, ill be quite a bit up. over £500 i reckon.

i just hope spain win tomorrow, i have 2 or 3 £10 accumulators with them and i have japan in 2 or 3 smaller accumulators.

i just hope that brazil get to the final i have £50 on them (£25 each way @ 6 to 1) which i placed ages ago.

teams that are looking dangerous are - spain, argentina, germany and brazil.

the argentina and germany game is a lottery, i predict a score draw with penalties it could go either way.

they have a uknown keeper, no decent right back, veron is useless when constantly pressed (which germany will do), they are missing key players like zanetti and cambiasso, who really turn up in big games.

i would put zanetti in at right back and cambiasso for veron against germany, but maradonna never picked them so he will be sticking with what hes got.

both teams have their weaknesses but argentina's squad is top heavy in quality and weak at the back (right back and keeper). germany on the other hand have the same level of quality throughout the whole squad. it will certainly be an entertaining game. if you were to rate the teams in levels i would say:

Argentina

Attack - 10
Midfield - 8
Defence - 7

Germany

Attack - 8
Midfield - 8
Defence - 8

so it is an even contest, and not much in it.

i do hope argentina win (i have a bet at 3/1 for any south american team to win the world cup, so if they get to the final with brazil, it will be a good result with my other bets)

Betclic.com are offering £20 at the moment. Rather than gamble it why not lay it off for a guarenteed profit of about £14?

My nice "who gets out of the groups" accumulator came through, £92 from a free £20 bet on 888. Withdrawn straight away and off to another site for free betting!
