LOL well it seems like my brass balls today paid off for me:D

£510 up from an outlay of £100....£410 profit...not bad not bad at all.

2 more matches to go, Brazil and Dutch then im finished...hopefully capitalise on both games and end up close to £1k up.

So far im at £700 up from an original outlay of £100...so just another £200 to win and i can call it a day and walk away with 1k in my pocket...that should pay for my iphone4 and then the rest my fiancee can go and spend...that will keep her happy lol.

LOL indeed but ive promised myself im not going to get too greedy this yr lol...plus the next 2 matches should be easy really with Brazil and Dutch to win their games but who knows...might be in for some shocks tommorrow:p

Hey cheets64??...shame you cant see my finger because id tell you to go spin on it;)...and i do have a country i am betting to win the WC this yr and for your info i was behind England to win...perhaps instead of gobbing off your usual BS you might want to read some of my past posts and the reason why i bet on Germans to win today:)...someones very bitter arent they:p

LOL well put it this way...if i honestly thought England were going to win today i would have backed them but i knew deep down inside it wasnt going to happen...i mean we havent looked at all convincing in any of our group games compared to the Germans who have looked far more convincing plus as i said the odds on Germany to win today were just too good to pass up...if they were heavily favoured then i would have stuck my money on England to win but that wasnt the case.
 
can we get back onto the betting front?

there was a good deal on van persie and fabiano first goalscoreres combined 21 to 1, i won £28 on the germany game so i stuck £8 on that.

spawn is obviously more of a risk taker by betting larger, but betting is a mugs game, i start out small and if i win then i keep going and some bets get large but i only ever play with my winnings and usually my kitty is rather small compared to spawns

Amazing, supporting Ice hockey teams yet favoring a NFL team while going crazy for Pakistan cricket team and cheering on Aresnal, fair play but you have one weird rule of thumb :D

I am gutted I lost my only bet what would have won me monies and my team to draw..so if that is so bad..sue me

Not that i know of...problem with the free bets thing is that sometimes you only get it if you satisfy certain criteria ie make a large deposit or place bets up to a certain amount.

Well tbh i do exactly the same thing...i only use my winnings to make more bets...as i said i put £100 last monday and used that to make some large-ish winnings...today is my final day of betting so im only going to use my winnings to make or lose money...worst case scenario is that i lose all my winnings but ill still have my £100 left which i will withdraw back into my bank account. Best case scenario is me maximising my winnings today to end up £1k richer.

persie and fabiano double is now 26 to 1, damn it, i put it on at 21 to 1
 
Toying with sticking a tenner on both Brazil and the Dutch to win today.

Tomorrows games I'm struggling to call I'd think both Spain and Paraguay to win but who know ?

Seems like pretty good odds to me...although im not betting on scorers or anything like that this yr...im just sticking to the games themselves and hoping for the best lol.

i wouldnt bet the whole lot on a game, 25%, just in case its a draw and never bet when the team has gone 1 up, you made that mistake with ghana, the odds are terrible for what your risking, i would bet on the draw though if a team has gone 1 up but not for the winning team to win, its just not worth it. theres no point in risking £1000 to win £100 for example which is usually what happens to the odds when a team goes 1 up unless they are the underdogs
 
I stuck a quid on Van Persie and Fabiano at 25/1 so won't loose anything if it doesn't happen. Stuck a little bit on the Dutch to just cover that probable loss.
