I was just messing about on a betting website, and decided to register.
I've just placed my first ever bet - a crazy 12 match accumulator

teams in bold to win:

Germany vs Ecuador @ 1.44
Costa Rica vs Poland @ 4.50
Sweden vs England - Draw @ 2.70
Paraguay vs T&T - Draw @ 3.50
Portugal vs Mexico @ 2.50

Its a given that I won't win, but I couldn't possibly resist the odds of 40,000-1, so I stuck £1 on

I'm sick, I had 15 quids on more than 4 goals at 7's. I could have murdered Torres when he tried to take it round the keeper!

On the bright side my two top goalscorer bets are looking good. Got Crespo at 26's and he's now 8's, got Torres at 32's and he's now 5's!

I was a few quid down by Saturday but I piled on Holland @ evs and turned it around. Costa Rica look good value at 7/2, same goes for England at 5/4.

I had a free £5 here and I went for Ecuador as well I think they could produce a shock, after I've said that though they'll probably go and get spanked 5-0

I think anyone betting on the England v Sweden match is mad.

I'm sure England are more than keen to avoid Germany in the next stage so the result of the Germany v Equador match could dictate the result in the English game.
