World Cup Group B (England, Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago, Sweden) **SPOILERS**

I'd be happy with a win no matter what the performance is like.

We will improve as the tournament goes on but we still need to be in it to win it ;) .

Im expecting a better performance today. I wouldnt risk Rooney at all. I really want to see Walcott to come on for at least 20 minutes too.

Harry Redknapp was pretty damming of Theo Walcott in the press this morning saying he is pretty easy to defend against and the more you mark him the more he drifts out to the wings and becomes less effective. He is unsure if he will turn out to be a world beater

And I presume Redknapp has been out in Germany training with England? The blokes a complete tool at times.

"The kid can run through puddles and not make a splash," he told the BBC. "He's lightning, he drifts over the ground and he's a fantastic talent. Wherever he goes I'm sure he's got a great future.

Why say that just 5 months earlier then Harry?

It's typical of the British media/ex-pro's, Theo hasn't even played yet they are almost trying to brand him a failure.

My prediction is a 3-0 win for England.

Owen will score first in the 1st half and then Lampard (Penalty) and Joe Cole will finish it off in the 2nd half. I really cannot see T&T scoring against us.

Rooney passed fit. That seems to suggest that Rooney will definitely play some part today.

Enjoy the game boys and girls! :)

Or it will be a boring 1-0 win. Hopefully not.

If Walcott is fit and doesnt play some part today then his inclusion in the squad must rank as the most idiotic managerial decision ever.
Not really. I never expected him to play a part. Certainly not in the latter stages. He may pick up 2 or 3 caps but not in important games and not for any length of time.

I'm expecting anticipation>intoxication>frustration>desperation>elation>currynation as we struggle to a 1-0 win.
Enjoy it all:)

How can anyone bet against England? :/

Possibly because you never know Trinidad could get a result out of this as impossible as it seems.

Not too sure if ill bet against them or with them as the odds arent that great, might end up laying trinidad and see what happens. But England do seem to be massive favourites judging by the odds im getting...

Thank christ for that !
if your talking about Rooney then its meaningless really as every member of the squad (apart from the starting 11, obviously) are on the bench, iirc he was on the bench vs Paraguay.
