Yes, but it's hardly a spoiler when the two teams who played today are mentioned in the thread title, is it? .

Looks pretty good for us.. although we will still lose. Let's face it.

He put his head in and made a connection.LoadsaMoney said:Figo got booked for another offence as far as im aware as the referee never saw the headbutt, well wasn't even a headbutt, was more more like a head twich to me
Up to your old tricks I see. Are you an England 'fan' like you are a scouse 'fan'?LoadsaMoney said:Why take Walcott is what i want to know, unless he gets a run out against Portugal, if not then what a waste, as thats our last game in the WC.

Its a double jeapordy rule - cannot be tried twice for the same offence
Which means he will line up against england
Fraid not.AFAIK FIFA rulings state that if the ref sees something and punishes a player then the review board cannot later punish the player again. It would be seen to be overruling the ref and would be taking powers away from them.Unconditional said:Who told you that?
If Fifa deem it necessary that he receives a suspension for his play, then surely they can do so?
What he did was a disgrace and the ref was not in the right position to give a fair judgement on it, so had to settle for a yellow, so surely Fifa can review the footage and give a more appropriate punishment?
