Seeing as the referee is an idiot, he'll probably want Figo to get suspended, and so will say he missed the headbutting incident.

So it looks as though Petit, Simao, Tiago and possibly Postiga will come into the team.

I still reckon it'd be a close call tho...

regardless of the players out its the system of slick passing and touches that will beat england in my opinion. their team is full of similarly skilled players and i think they have a way of playing whilst england still havent found theirs.

england would have had more of a chance against the dutch, who despite being cute in possession and defense were lightweight up front - failing to link their wide men with the one up front.

Portugal play a lot better with Deco, they play more effectively and look a better side. Without him I'd say England have a damn good chance but then when you look at how poor England's midfield were today you do wonder....

Figo got booked for another offence as far as im aware as the referee never saw the headbutt, well wasn't even a headbutt, was more more like a head twich to me, so he could still get banned from the game as the cameras picked it up, won't matter though as we have no chance, they beat Holland with only 10 men ffs.

Why take Walcott is what i want to know, unless he gets a run out against Portugal, if not then what a waste, as thats our last game in the WC.

What he did was a disgrace and the ref was not in the right position to give a fair judgement on it, so had to settle for a yellow, so surely Fifa can review the footage and give a more appropriate punishment?

We stand a good chance if we get our act together. Portugal were made to look ill-disciplined (in spite of the ref). It's not nice to wish a team weakened before an encounter but I certainly won't miss Deco or Costinha.

Fraid not.AFAIK FIFA rulings state that if the ref sees something and punishes a player then the review board cannot later punish the player again. It would be seen to be overruling the ref and would be taking powers away from them.
