agreed although the defence is looking a bit shaky, and im hoping the midfield will pick it up a little against portugal cos they can be one of the best midfields in the cup

Well he does have a point, England have been playing boring football lately...maybe against Portugal they will up it a tad and make it a bit more free flowing.

yeh we havnet played well...

but what he said implied that we have a more aggressive style and he'll need to keep a close eye on us..

Haha. Hope England will win, I think I recall Costinha being awesome for them at the back in Euro 2004 and with him out hopefully we can break them down. Really want to see a goal from Rooney, and desperately don't want it to go to penalties.

If we do lead in the game I think we should learn a lesson from Argentina and not sit back on it.

I think it will be a close game, I'd be suprised if there are more than 2 goals in the 90 mins.

TBH its not though is it. As in no way does one half decent game make up for all of his other caps as an England player, where he was his usual crap self
