the argies hate us as much as we hate them

plus it means he's influencing who they may play in the final

Whether or not the decision to make an Argentine referee the game, I hate statements like yours. The Argentines don't hate the UK, and none of the people I know hate, or even remotely dislike, the Argentines. If you hold some drawn out grudge against them, that's your business, however sad.

On the subject of an Argentine refereeing, let's see what it brings, but I'm not one to be cynical enough to think that the match has been decided before it's started.

Either way, I'm looking forward to the match.

Why o why do we have to listen to Mick McCarthy give his opinion on international football? Is he really qualified to question the tactics of any manager at the world cup? His record says no.

His honesty is refreshing, if only he had a bit of knowledge to go with it :p

I think when people say they hate Argentina or Germany, they mean in terms of football. Or at least that is the case for the sane people.

Yes the players don't care do they.

Nope they dont, only one player does, and thats Rooney and the thought of him breaking himself again trying to win the match on his own while Beckham and co flounce around like a bunch of gays upsets me.
