There's not many playing without passion. Beckham you're right with, but after that you're struggling.

I think Beckham and Lampard look that way, but only because they're playing badly...

I havnt seen one of them grimace with effort or make a gut busting run, or push them selves to the limit in any game they have played this tournament.
You can play badly and still put the effort in, Beckham plays badly and doesnt put the effort in, the rest, they really are not giving it their all.

Joe Cole i would probably admit is putting more in than the rest.
 
totally agree with you atpbx, they just seem to stumble on spouting a load of spin. apart from coles goal hes a bit like c. ronaldo lots of tricks and not much end product, in the last game he did a ton of step overs and jinks and then kicked a cross out for a throw in.

i think that is primarily down to england containment strategy

i hope portugal score first in an odd way so we get a nip tuck match in a similar vein to eng-arg - england cannot be trusted to play flowing football (at the best of times) when they got a lead or protect a lead!

beckam could well get free kicks in and around his shooting hotspots

anyone watching the wimbledon?they showed england players coming off the bus,im sure sue barker called Theo Walcott Aaron Lennon.pfft he wishes at least aaron gets a game :p
