** WORLD EXCLUSIVE - THE 8PACK EDITION 2000W 80+ PLATINUM SUPERFLOWER PSU IS HERE! **

i have to say im impressed.

the price jump from the 1200w platinium to the 1600w titanium was big. i was expecting a very high premium on the 2000w. however its a lot less than i anticipated.

1600w = £299
2000w = £349

Pretty obvious winner for value for money on this one

What a monster, my current system would only use 10% of that!!!

Well done to everyone involved it looks like a really good product, I really like the fact the light up connectors are gone on these new models.

It's here. The worlds FIRST 2000W consumer power supply is now available to buy exclusively from Overclockers UK, and it has the 8Pack seal of approval. This SuperFlower PSU is absolutely ridiculous, it sports an impressive 80+ Platinum 230V EU rating, it is probably the heaviest consumer PSU i've ever picked up, the modular cable braiding is spot on and it will run a hugely overclocked tri/quad SLI or XFire setup without breaking a sweat, as 8Pack will show you below :)

8Pack does not overclock PCs to set world records. He overclocks reality when it's everyone else's turn to make them look slower. :D

I'm no going to buy one of these any time soon for many obvious reasons... but whats the consensus on the power requirements of our PCs in 5-10 years time?

Obviously, its really hard to see that far into the future when it comes to tech, but just wondering if there will be a point where 2000W is 'not enough' anymore!

Pretty sure the wiring in my study will not cope with that thing. Surely there's a limit to how much a single psu can be?

Also a good question.

For example, say there was a LAN party, how many of these running at capacity could a single house hand without tripping the main? I genuinely don't have a clue about these kinds of things... I would just know not to run them all on a single extension cable!
