World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

What settings do you guys use for this display? For the first time, I enabled console mode tonight is the difference in the colour was quite big. Do you use console mode?

I have HDR off for general desktop use and then enable 'HDR Peak 1000' when gaming. I also created a new HDR profile using the Windows calibration tool.

Got mine today, at first it took some adjusting as I found the screen much dimmer than my old Z35P but after some tweaks with settings / HDR, it's a sensational monitor showing true colours on windows of which I simply have never experienced.

Very happy after a year of use (DW) and no sign of burn in. The recent firmware update fixed most of my issues I had with mine.

That 240Hz WOLED review almost certainly means I won't upgrade to the 39" WOLED UW afterall in Q1/Q2. I was given a Samsung G5 27" monitor with 1000R recently which sits on the build bench for testing or some light gaming. No way I'd buy a monitor with that much curve for more general use

Was going to reply to your posts earlier but sounds like you're on top of it. Cyberpunk an obvious choice for HDR but Baldur's Gate 3 has impressive bright highlights and Avatar 3 at times can be almost uncomfortably bright when transitioning from dark to bright aeras.

Yea it took a bit of tweaking, but got it how I want it now. Thanks though.

1440p in 39 inches will be horrible, its not enough DPI unfortunately.
45" definitely bad which is why I skipped them but 39" would be OK for me as I've had some 2560 x 1080 monitors before on not much smaller panels. Old eyes too so I often have to use some magnification such 125% on OCUK forum to read text.
