is that directx10? Also coulc you run the benchmark just to get a cold hard comparison, not your own benchmark with fraps.

His was DX9, DX10 dont work yet on 2900's, well it does, but the menu's are all messed up.

whoops i just screwed mine up. it wont load now lol. anybody know where the config file is stored...if there is one

oh btw 8fps average on a 7300gt with very high settings at 1360x768. thats not actually bad lol

yeh ive seen a lot of problems with the 2900xt cards so far on the massive entertainment tech forums.

i just turned compressed hud textures off. im getting average 28, min 21, max 47 in dx10. i cant seem to force dx9 on the card

I was downloading the game, and had just sat down ready to install it as it reached 97%. Then, for no reason whatsoever, my router reset itself. So, upon the router restarting, I assumed the download would continue, but no. It's just frozen, hasn't moved for 15 minutes now, even though it says it downloading at 235 Kb/s. See below:

How can I get the download to continue? The only option I have is to click Cancel, but clearly that's not going to help. Am I going to have to download it again? Help!

Just been playing for 20 mins recorded with fraps some REAL world gameplay, not some flawed in game benchmark.

Test was done with

DX9C
Soft Shadows OFF
1680x1050
Everything Very High
8xAA only 1-2fps hit over 4x
16xHQAF

Min Max Avg
17 94 31.338

Perfectly playable.

AVG = 22 in the benchmark when In game its never gone that low, absoloute rubbish.

Try jumpstarting it. Make a copy of the partial file you have. Then start redownloading it from the start, pause that download. Copy in your big file and sometimes it will resume.

If that fails try the same thing with getright which will always try to resume if it can, its server dependant afaik so vary the download location if you can.
