you just said your lowest with fraps was 17. has it gone that low or not?

the fact is you can measure any part of the game and nobody would be able to compare their system to yours unless it was a scripetd part you were testing. you could have been testing an empty screen for the first 15 minutes.

if the section at the beginnig of the benchmark was longer, i dare say the average scores would be higher would they? but nobody really needs to know what their fps is when staring at a field of nothing in particular. thats why the flyby is full of units and explosions:)
 
just been playing online max everything in dx10, 1680x1050 4xaa and 16xaf plays like a dream, more than playable.

I was reffering to the AVG not the low, it has never gone as low as 22fps AVG. But meh perfectly smooth for me Im happy.

If that fails try the same thing with getright which will always try to resume if it can, its server dependant afaik so vary the download location if you can.

resuming almost never works for me, i was getting this off the multiplay ftp, computer crashed so i resumed, 4 hours later the file downloaded but when extracting i get a CRC error every time --i'm rather annoyed still!

Heh, I was maxing my 20mb connection downloading it at 6pm last night, used the Multiplay link.

Good game, when you can get on a server and it doesn't lag to hell :p
 
wow..... this is simply a brilliantly put together game, and for a beta, even better! i am definetly getting this game, ive just stopped after a night solid of playing, havnt got to launch a nuke yet, but seen a few.

looks amazing, got everything to max, 4xaa 16x af, average of 40-50, lowest 32 and highest 94 fps.

Quite enjoyed it last night, and managed to come top in most of the rounds, dunno how I thought i was getting hammered :)

Got quite a bit of lag later on tho, which was poo.

Managing to play high settings with 1440x900 and looks good. :D

And Ive still got a SPARE KEY GOING! lol
 
Has anyone scanned the WIC download? I just have and AVG Free is reporting "could be infected with Win32/Heur"
 
I too have a spare key now, and also have set up the OcUK clan again. But i need your tags your using for the open beta in order to add you. So post them up.

absolutely loving this game. Only had one lock up so far and played for a good 3-4 hours, so not the end of the world :p
