I've always played Horde, never got past Lv20 or so on Alliance. I think this time round I'll go to alliance... If it's not filled with kids everywhere this time
Take your own advice bud.
As I said, good luck with the mindset, as long as you're having fun, right?
I voted alliance. Spent 90% of my WoW time as Horde and would be good to experience classic as Alliance.
Yeah when I was in I had 10-12ms, yet there did still seem to be a bit of lag on occasion. The player drop off is probably going to be pretty severe in my opinion, so within days we should see no queues whatsoever. The problem then will be half dead servers in need of a merge.
I'm regretting rolling on a pvp server, with sharding we arent all together, there are no big battles at xroads or at TM, it doesnt feel like vanilla, think I'm gonna change to pyrewood and just relax
Spirit tap is good for solo play, useless/wasted talent points for dungeons. Same with wand talents so I dont bother with those. Doing ok.
As above, get a wand, dont burn all your mana on just one mob, do green/yellow quests.
If you really want to solo level play shadow priest till 60.
What Jokester said. The enchanter crafted wands are great at low level. I shield, smite, SWPain and wand to death. Rinse and repeat. When you get fear use that as get out of jail. Alternate points in Spirit tap and wand specialisation. Then two in improved SWPain and three in Shadow focus. There are guides after that, I can't remember where they go next. Don't just use the max rank of spells. Sometimes lvl 1 will do the job.
Shield plus inner fire will mitigate most damage. Wand plus talents is the key.
I rolled a Horde Shammy on Gehennas, and as much as I'm loving treading the path of 15 years ago I'm getting sick of the queues. If I forget to remotely log in around half 2 while I'm at work then by the time I get home there's a minimum 3 hour wait! Bit lonely on there as well as none of my mates have decided to jump back in.
I've now rolled a Gnome Mage on Firelash called Lofty, so if anyone could be kind enough to invite me to a guild for a bit of company I'd be made up
Absolutely loving it so far, so many memories and so many things I'd forgot about. Great sense of community so far with the fly by buffs and heals etc. I don't have the same amount of time to sink into it as I did back then - saw the sun come up on far too many occasions at the end of a session, but I'm enjoying the more relaxed pace rather the the rush to 60.
I've never actually played as Alliance so its kinda like a whole new game on this Gnome. I used to have a LOT of alts back in the day but I can't see me having the time to sink into that anymore. One or two should be more than enough.
Skip forward 6 months and I'll probably have 1 of each class though, haha!
I got 4 hooves from 4 kills
