You need to select the correct region from the starting screen. I had the same issue.

Its probably logged into the wrong region. If you log out, you should have an option to change region to Europe when you log back in.
Got my first alt to 110 last night. My 5 man guild mythic group is gonna attempt some mythics later (in 800~ Gear :O) as 3 others also dinged yesterday. Should be a laugh.....

Yes, I skipped Panda's and WOD, level 104 now, took a while taking in all the new stuff but its essentially the same old WOW.
Though I am finding disc healing pretty hard at the moment, the two instances I have done were chaotic. They were pugs though.....

Its worth noting that if doing dungeons, there is some sort of up / down scaling when different levels are there.
I made new lvl 100 character and boosted him to be permanent. I read that professions would apply automatically and boost to 700 but I had to learn mining and blacksmithing myself and they are at 1/75 both, is it a bug? How can I boost professions too?

AFAIK you need to boost a level 60+ character for professions to be boosted too, not that it matters unless you want all the recipes as you can just straight up learn legion blacksmithing stuff through quests and can mine in legion with 1/75 mining.

Last night was a new experience in WoW - there I was minding my own business levelling away in Highmountain, when in comes a whisper in chat.
followed rapidly by another:
Now, I'm not sure whether he was saying that only noobs play DKs or just that I was playing mine particularly badly. That said, as a bit of a grammar nerd I found the little ignoramus' lack of capitalisation rather more offensive. I made do with lobbing a couple of earthy and robust comments in his direction.
I'm assuming he was Johnny Foreigner, because it then got a bit more bizaare, as he started going on about the UK, the EU and Brexit. I hate the EU and voted leave, so I chucked an equally caustic phrase back.
At that point I got bored of trying to decipher this chap's rather poorly-written English and stuck the little scrote on ignore, although with the benefit of hindsight I'm almost wishing I'd let the 'conversation' carry on, just to see what random direction it took next.
I know there are some total social inadequates that play this game, but it's the first time in all my WoW years I've encountered one outside of PUGs ...

What was deciding factors for you guys when choosing a profession? I don't know what to go for. My mage is lvl79.

So I was trying to use the Brulfist Idol yesterday (to escape pulling too many mobs) and it only sent me up as high as a normal jump. I thought fair enough, maybe it's because I was in combat. Tested it again OOC, and same result.
Blizzard have killed the Brulfist Idol apparently...
Yes, spotted this too in similar circumstances!
The Fist is useless now really... The Kite also has a 10 minute cooldown instead of the previous 1 minute
