Have heard some people saying they're burned out already and run out of things to do. Slow down! Or start on an alt.

I've not had loads of time to play, just late evenings (into the early hours when I get totally immersed). Currently DPS so dungeon queues are long, but I don't mind, just quest whilst that's counting down.

Some of the zones have brought the same feeling I had when I first played the game. I think that could be partly because I had a big break from the game (didn't play any of WoD) but I think they've made the questlines and story pretty well this time.

The only issue I'm having is how hard it is to get up for work in the mornings

Did you listen to his reviews on garrisons? Belluar was far more positive and enthusiastic about garrisons then negative. His complaints with them were the aesthetic wasn't great, followers were pretty boring, not diverse enough. And given how much your given with a garrison (bank etc) people wont be in capital cities - that one turned out legit, but was also compounded by the halving of subs. The negative with Legion has been far greater than WoD

It didn't come across all that positive to me. I think he was basing some of it off the fact blizzard would change things but they didn't.

We just have differing opinions I think, I haven't seen anywhere near as much negativity this time around, although I haven't really went looking for it as I haven't felt the need to yet like I did with WoD.

Not sure what the negative was with Garrison, made things easier. Yeah people were living in their garrison but you could chat in it so if you wanted a party it worked. Trade, just join someone's garrisson etc. Garrisson was like a mini game, keep people busy.

I see that the Garrison building do affect Legion drops, higher chances in getting upgraded items from drops or quests.

Wait what? The garrison can increase chance of better drops? This is news to me.

Just dinged my DK to 110. I ended up going unholy as frost just seems cack.
Unholy leveling has been great so OP.

Played a bg just and they seem fine in pvp also. So far expansion is good i quit WOD quite early so playing again is all good for myself.

But i cant really comment as its to early in the cycle for me.

That isn't an inherent positive. The game's economy is in ruins as a result of the tens (if not hundreds) of millions of gold everyone who farmed multiple garrisons now has. Even as someone who was unsubbed for more than half the expansion and only had a few half-assed garrisons, I reached the old gold cap two times over. Before WoD I had about 50k gold across all my characters.

Should hit 110 tonight, picked up the game Monday evening and only put a few hours into it each night. First impressions are that the levelling / questing process is significantly worse than WoD.

I just don't feel engaged in the storyline at all, and aside from a few 'ooooh damn' moments in cutscenes, its really not all that great.

really? I found the leveling process in WOD so lacklustre, I didnt even pay attention to what was going on 90% of the time just run to site A and kill X amounts of enemies...run to site B and collect X amount of items...hand in repeat.

I've enjoyed the levelling zones much more than WoD's, although Highmountain is well off the quality of the others IMO.

Are people scattered through the servers or on one, or does it not really matter any more?

I finished stormheim and didn't get an i800 item? I have 2 quests left in the zone, a group one and the dungeon one. I have the achievement for doing the & chapters. Any ideas?

Yeah, but at peak time as DPS for a dungeon the wait time is about 1-2 minutes just now.

There is positive trade offs to the wait to get in.


Also from what I've been hearing the number of players on a zone map at any time is now controlled. So you tend to think the map is empty when really its chock full but people are just phased.

I think Blizzard need to invest in better sharding tech so that they can merge more or all the servers and then use the tech to better scale server hardware dynamically to client density at any given time.
