***World of Warcraft : Legion***

The class order campaigns seem really fair for each class...

Some classes got their 3rd artifact slot within 5 days, as a hunter there were the 5 x 1-day missions, then I had another 1-day mission, now I've got 4 x 12 hour missions and 30 world quests to do....
 
I have a feeling Warrior is pretty low on the fairness chart from what I've read, I've not progressed that far but they're like 38 hour missions (assuming you have the counters)??

Also, the Warrior mission taking you back to Ulduar was a ****ing joke, who the hell balanced that? So stupid.
 
I think in the total span of the class campaign its relatively fair, and its not like it requires too much effort especially with the phone app now.

In total I only had 10 12 hour missions ontop of the usual quests like 30 world quests. but Dk's also have to run the most dungeons but i suppose if you are competent it takes 20 minutes to run a normal.

Hit honored with the nightfallen last night 1k in now, really hope i can sap every bit of rep out this evening and unlock Arcway and CoS for the extra mythics. Anyone got any tips for Nightfallen rep grind?
 
I am thoroughly enjoying the expansion. Just completing all the zones the moment.

Was very skeptical of the artifacts but so far so good. The Class Hall companion app is superb. Enables me to keep missions going while at work! :D
 
I am thinking about returning to WoW. However I have not played since Cataclysm, am I hopelessly out of touch? Are there any good ways to catch up? Thanks.

Honestly I don't see why you'd have an issue unless you love to follow the lore cause obviosuly quite a lot has changed. I have played seriously since cat myself, played MoP for a week and WoD for maybe two weeks. I've only been playing since the very end of Wrath, Cat drop time and cata itself and this is the most I've ever enjoyed wow. Might be the people I'm playing with this time around though. These lot arent potatoes (maybe one of them is)
 
I do like the lore unfortunately. I'm really out of touch with the mechanics and everyone I played with is long gone from the game. I'll have to solo my way up again.

Im sure you can spend a few days just reading up in it then if you enjoy it.

As for having no one, this expansion I have noitced people have been incredibly friendly so I have no doubt you will find a bunch of people you can get in with and play with. Hell even the horde are friendly (for the most part) countless times I have interactions with horde via the commands haha
 
You can touch up with lore easily, just have a read up if you want. The time I played most was from Vanilla through to Wrath but was pretty casual in Cata/MoP, still kept up to date on lore though. Started raiding at the start of Warlords but ended up having to stop, I do plan on playing the hell out of this expansion mind now I have more time.

So yeah, touch up on lore and you'll be fine.

Do all the sidequests in Suramar. Completing quest-chains that don't give Nightfallen rep will unlock world quests that do give Nightfallen rep.

Other than that, use the Kirin Tor emissary for the 750 Nightfallen rep instead of 1500 for the other factions (if you still have it), obviously do every world quest in Suramar when you can, remember to "refuel" the 3 junkies in your base every day for 50 rep each, and most importantly do not mess up your withered army training - there's at least 400 rep in it if you complete it. Get the ancient mana cap to 2000 asap by finding the treasures so that you can do the training with 20 withered at the start. Yesterday I was so focused on catching the buggers running away and trying to prevent any of them dying that I forgot to focus on keeping myself alive and failed on the first boss.

Oh and if you really want to min-max, get the Darkmoon faire buff every hour.

Start of honoured to 8k will take you a few days at least, though.

I've run it twice but i suck at it, ive made it to the first boss both times and i just take too long to kill all my withered start to die :( how many bosses are there?

isnt darkmoon faire over now?
 
So I was trying to use the Brulfist Idol yesterday (to escape pulling too many mobs) and it only sent me up as high as a normal jump. I thought fair enough, maybe it's because I was in combat. Tested it again OOC, and same result.

Blizzard have killed the Brulfist Idol apparently... :(

Whats this Kirin Tor emissary? I feel like I have missed something with that one.
 
Just an alternative type of World Quest for Kirin Tor. Rather than killing things they are generally discovery or puzzle based. you also get to pick a reputation token that gives a large chunk of rep to a faction of your choice. They are rarer than the other factions WQ trains however

I think this the first time since Vanilla that I have not bothered playing an expansion although I actually own it. The game has got so bad that it just has no appeal to me in the current state, it's just so boring. Normally I'm looking forward to the expansion, I'd book time off work and get to max level within the day. This time I made the mistake of buying the upgrade before the legion patch and hated it. I have given it a go but can not tolerate it for more than a few minutes, it's just ruined imo :(

I guess the only time I'm likely to play this again is if Blizzard ever decide to support Vanilla servers.
