They've just completely revamped the leveling system making it much more manageable for new players and much more condensed so yeah I would say so. We're also waiting for a new expansion so everything will be nice and fresh and new in the next few months.

Does it matter which server? I'd imagine one with a highish population is best?

A high pop server will be easier to find a guild on, and generally prices on the Auction house will be lower ad move faster. Aside from that, doesn't really matter, aside from queues at peak times/launch of patches. All activities aside from Mythic raiding are cross server now.

Ah cool, i've been playing on a server called Silvermoon as a Dwarf Paladin. No idea if the server or class choice is any good but i've been enjoying the start. Albeit it is very quiet on Exiles Reach.

Both great choices! Silvermoon alliance is one of the most populated realms in EU, and Dwarf Paladin is a great class. Versatile in that you can tank, heal or DPS if you wish to. Enjoy the game!
 
Set myself the date, 1st of December and i roll Rogue on Alliance. Looking forward to this the last one i played was Legion and it was the best experience i had even though by the time i started it was dead and i met one person in Suramar.

Just me and uncle Elrond :D
 
Must admit Exiles Reach looks stunning with everything maxed out, really beautiful artwork. If thats what we are in for with Shadowlands then bring it on.
 
I'm still in two minds about this.

If I do play I'll probably default to my old favourite and go Fury Warrior, but I haven't looked into the state of specs/classes in any depth yet.
 
Its hard to judge what to main yet, the DPS rankings are all over the place with azerite traits. Only thing ive decided so far is ill be starting on horde this expansion so ive been spending pre patch levelling up my horde toons that were parked at 110 since legion. BFA i pretty much only played alliance befor ei ended my sub.

From those ive levelled so far Spriest and enhance shammy felt really nice. On my Sub rogue now. Then have a few allied races to level up, the changes to the levelling are so good
 
I bought BFA at the start off the year but got consumed by classic and quickly unsubscribed, having never actually played it (BFA). Just looking forward to Shadowlands now as I obviously missed the boat :p

I resubbed this week and have been trying to get everything up to 50. I'm still on Chamber of Aspects as Horde from when we did a re-roll project on here a few years back. Anybody else still knocking around on there?

Have to say Fury warrior feels amazing after also hitting 50 so far on my Mage and Paladin. Will move onto my Hunter or Spriest next but pretty sure I'll be taking my warrior to 60 first. Purely based from my experience of levelling to 50 rather than on any major content or dungeons. Could be an absolute lemon :D

Guessing apart from unlocking the extra allied races, there's not much point doing anything else at the moment? Professions no longer need to be maxed before new expansions either iirc?

All my Horde toons are on Chamber of Aspects since that reroll guild also, i just set up my own guild and invited all my alts so i can share the bank etc.

On Alliance the majority of my toons are still on Moonglade from the "overachievers" days. Still one of my favourite times in a reroll guild from the forums.

Id love to have a nice group of people to play with last few expansions ive pretty much played solo which is also part of the reason why i rarely stick out the expansion. Dont see raids outside LFR and rarely touch M+
