Atm as alliance i do find we win most the BGs though.... especially AV and IoC. On isle the horde always seem to go Hangar/Mid and the Ally go dock, and the glaive throwers seem to get through the door quicker.

If you are running against people with heirloom items then you will be doing less damage overall. I'd stick with the dungeons and just try and improve gear - might be worth looking up your levelling rotation.

Seriously, when I was still back home in the UK I played on Argent Dawn. We couldn't win BGs unless miracles happened. The only BG that was a fairly regular win were AV. Hence that's really all I played.
 
Been doing some PVP tonight on my priest as disc and in BGs its pretty good fun. I hate arena so I won't be doing that, but I've got full pvp gear now and saving conquest points up for better items. Got a 626 warforged S1 stave from a gold lock box that boosts to 681 ilevel as well just now :D
 
Im finally on, I gotta say the game looks terrible image quality wise with CMAA/FXAA. I see now that this game is mastered internally for 4K. I reccomend going 4K for this asap to be honest.

980 4770k stock and im weirdly going from 120 solid to 60 solid there is no inbetween fps at all. Yet i have triple buffering on as well im not sure whats going on. Do others with DSR get the same behaviour? I had to ditch Shadows and SSAO for the meantime but everything else is Ultra 4K 120hz.
 
Was the group cross realm? if you join an Xrealm group that originated from a PVP server it will flag you IIRC.

I seem to be getting this all the time now and its quite frustrating. Is there any way to tell if a group is cross realm and will change me to pvp?

I suppose ive only started raiding this past month for the first time which may explain why ive never experienced it before, but joining a group that cant summon then having to run the gauntlet of a Highmaul entrance infested with horde isnt much fun. Especially when i'm meant to be on pve.
 
I think they had some good ideas with the new expansion but the reduction in abilities make many classes really boring to play. As for PvP well that's broke as usual ie Frost DK's who heal more than healers and other stupid things which make me wonder how it can get into the game after beta etc.

Im mainly going PvE this expansion for that reason. By all accounts Fire mages are no longer effective in PvP, so Ill be a dungeon crawler for a while it looks like.

Frost DKs? Surely you mean Blood DKs? Or are you meaning Frost DKs using Death Strike to heal themselves?
 
Anyone experienced the Black Green upon opening WoW?

Even after a fresh install I'm still getting these problems.

If I mess around with the folders and change the name so it resets to me choosing language etc it lets me on but after restart the whole process starts again.

WAS working fine.
 
so what are you all up to now, I was late buying wod so I have been playing catchup and farming the events in ashram to get better gear.

Not bothered about winning the main game as its just push back and fourth, and the alliance out number us so we can't get to their boss.
