***World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor***

ICC is the one that is killing me... I wish they'd patch it to allow you up to the LK once the Upper Spire is open. :(

It doesn't take that long to clear if you're doing the 10nm/25HC extended lockout but, yeah I agree it would be nice to be able skip the 3 wings. The only reason anyone is in ICC nowadays is for Invincible's Reins, we're not gaining anything from clearing them over and over.

Could do with quitting this game to be honest as I spend far too much time just sitting in my garrison when I could be playing other stuff. I flogged my original account many years ago so might do the same with this just to finally get rid of it for good. Need to break the addiction lol.

I took a year off just before SOO, came back for 10 day trial. 3 quests in (not even off the steps of the portal) and was like... f this, I'm bored already. Questing and leveling up used to be some of the most fun bits of the game but it seems it's something you grow out of pretty quickly if you leave it for a while.

Leveling wasn't bad in wod, but I don't wanna do it on other chars nor do I want to hear more characters either. Got a 662 priest and 666 rogue so not exactly crap gear but apart from rep grinds or pvp, the list of things to do is pretty limited. I wish blizzard would make the daily quest actually useful again as that was around an hour of content per day in every expansion from wrath of the lich king apart from this one.

Really does depend on the person, I come back every expansion just to see the new content, level up my characters and enjoy some new lore.

I get a few months of fun and leave; I’ve no interest in the ‘end game’ anymore but WoW remains one of my favorite games and I look forward to going back each time, a lot worse ways to spend £60 odd quid a year.

Oh and death to daily’s, may they and their creators burn (although only mild burns that hurt for a few hours and leave no visible scars).

I find dailies are only a problem when they become mandatory for character progression. Other than that, I love them. Great way to have faction specific story lines, especially the way they did the dailies in MoP, with the dailies then a story quests etc.

The Klaxxi dailies had great story attached to them. As did the Shado-Pan. And they had a progressing story line!

So does the Garrison campaign though.

The apexis dailies are completely optional, hell I make more gold from sending my followers on missions than I could ever make from dailies.

The apexis dailies take no time in a group.

The Garrison mission campaign has its own story yes. It's good. It's not faction related. I was commenting on faction dailies for rep, instead of the mindless grind for rep. I'd like to learn about a faction a bit more. I'd like to know more about the Steamwheedle Preservation Society. All I know is, they want claws and beaks of elite mobs...

I think everyone complained about dailies so much in MoP because 1) they were uncapped and 2) they were basically essential for character progression. In TBC, we could only do 10 (then 25) a day. But they weren't needed for anything other than cool mounts (looking at you Skyguard and Netherwing). Dailies only became a real problem when Blizzard made them essential to gearing a raid character AND removed the cap on how many you could complete in a day. I'm saying, that they are good for the game, in giving a faction story, and they are good for the game as long as they only give vanity items (again, Skyguard and Netherwing).

Well if you want to know anything about the Argent Dawn or the Wildhammers, the former want bones and scourge insignias, thousands of them. The latter just wan't gryphon feathers, millions of them.

:P

Currently sitting 2 level 100s warrior and hunter. Hunter is 650 and warrior is a retired main at 615.

Bringing up a enchanment shaman at 97 and a paladin which I am looking forward to gearing as holy and getting highmaul hopefully heroic cleared.

Tbh just want a place to raid casually as I Barely have time to play anymore.

Well sure but that was in Vanilla. The game has changed since then. Wrath, Cata and more recently MoP factions had story to the faction, some progression where you felt like you were actually achieving something.

Is it too much to expect from a game with such a massive income to simply provide some story along with the factions? What's wrong with having dailies for people who like to rep farm that way? Blizzard is all about "bring the player not the class" to raids, but you can't play the game you want to when it comes to rep farming.

Lore wise and story progression this has been a very weak expansion for me so far. Story prgression through the zones was disjointed, the Iron Horde themselves are badly fleshed out cardboard 'villians'.

MoP for all its silliness (lol pandas and all that), ***** over this expansion so far for story & lore and a sense of character progression.

But MoP didn't have the super awesome garrisons where you end up spending all your time doing nothing at all!

**** garrisons!

Really isnt much to do outside of the odd raid, working old content for transmog gear takes what 30 mins per raid, once a week. All I do on my main is log on once a day, send followers on 10 or 24 hour missions, maybe do one or 2 bg's for Honor for old pvp sets (yet again transmog) then log onto my paladin Im levelling, run a few quests, maybe a dungeon or BG. Get bored and log off and play a steam game if I'm in the mood.

I cant seem them retaining the subs they garnered at the start of WoD. It's just dull, which isnt good when we're 3 months into the expansions lifespan.

If anyone plays Tarren Mill Horde we're looking for players who can raid 3 days a week for Mythic content. Add krafty#2722 and I'll put you in contact with our recruiters :)

We're farming 7/7 HC and 1/7 in one night, hopefully we will add 2/7 Mythic to farming and progressing on Bracken atm.
