Check the realm list, every server is locked.

Ok this won't help with the login queue but It will help with lag.

Go on a random foreign language server (low pop), Create a deathknight.

Invite your friend to a group and promote to leader.

Log in on your main (if you can) ask your friend to invite and you should get zoned into the low pop server.

Apparently this has helped my brother.

Rofl as if all the realms are locked and all have a queue.

Blizzard are a joke, they're the ones who provide the keys for the expansion and sell the product directly through BattleNet. They can easily monitor how many copies are selling and work from that.

It's all the people who quit a while ago thinking the new expansion is going to sate their poor attention spans or just not admitting they're done with the game trying to join.
Like most people in the OCUK re-roll guild. They come crawling back and then scurry off again when the next MMO gets released, rinse and repeat.

I'll admit I haven't played since January but then theres been no new content.

Every expansion they have a sharp increase in subs so they could have prepared better for this.
