Rofl, you expected a perfect launch?
But they announced the price change like 6 months ago, its always been cheaper for UK apparently so this is just to fix that.

I jumped in a queue for silvermoon the second I got home at about position 2000. Came back to my compute 30 mins later, position 184, woo! Left again for 5 mins, position 3000ish. What? Haha.

4200 / 320-minute queue here!
Normally, after a bit of waiting, I've always been able to play an xpac on launch day. The only issue usually is 20 players fighting against the same quest mobs. However, 48 hours into Warlords and not a sniff of the game whatsoever. Does anyone else agree with me that this is the worst launch for WoW? Same server since 2005, so I'm giving this a fair test.
Looks like I'm in the same position as most people except that I'm stuck at a 'logging in to game server' message. In the good old days of addiction I'd have been positively fuming (so I'm very sympathetic to everyone who's waiting as well) but now I find I'm quite sanguine about it all. I'm keen to get playing but I imagine the last vestiges of addiction are now gone.
Looks like they've severely underestimated its popularity but they know everyone will continue playing and paying so they won't give a **** 
I won't get to actually play my 30 free days at this rate so I probably won't bother resubbing at the end, I have enjoyed it though so may return after a month or two.

I do find comments like this rather laughable, like because its a computer game the company gets a pass to churn out **** service.
Blizzard is no longer the relatively small operation it was when WoW was launched, Actiblizz has revenues of over 2 billion dollars annually, they have a decade of experience running the largest, most successful MMO in existance, yet we aren't entitled to expect them to get things right? The amount of money and expertise at their disposal a situation this bad is unacceptable. I hold Blizzard to the same standards which I hold my mobile phone provider, my broadband provider, or any other service which I pay for.

I just quit and went straight back in, decided to level my Rogue in Outland, no issues.
If the lag gets too bad I might consider starting my free lvl 90, although first logon will likely be Draenor

I don't get this. They know exactly how many people bought/pre ordered their game so they couldn't have possibly underestimated.
With that said, I'll still pay. I can go a few days without it. Haha. I'd imagine they'll add some game time to everyone's account or something.

So I logged on at 15:30 and it is now 19:13 and I still have 543 people ahead of me in the queue (EU Argent Dawn) with an estimated wait of 235 mins... This is very poor. Worst launch by Blizz in WoW's history and they should have prepared better for this.
