Higgins has found some form! Amazing middle pocket red off a double. Closed the gap to only 4 frames. This makes for a better match tonight tbh.

Bah, a 5-3 session will have to do. Could have been so much nicer after taking the first 4 but also lucky for it not be 4-4.

True, but even so, Hendry was a machine, he won everything going. The youngest player ever to win a world championship and still the only player to hold 7 titles. He was like the Michael Schumacher of snooker.

Prior to this session I think John Higgins was getting very lucky a lot. However, he lasted to the final session and can't argue against a 99% pot success rate right now.

Last two chances Williams has had have been right on the cushion. Run of the ball makes a huge difference. In this afternoon's session, those misses or errors from Higgins would likely have left Williams with a much easier chance.

Sometimes I get the feeling the player who is not getting the run of the ball is just a passenger.

Funny, a friend of mine last evening said Higgins will win, even after Williams was ahead in the session. Today I was confident how wrong he was. Until now!

It's all over now bar the fat lady singing. Possible, but unlikely, that Higgins will win the next 3 consecutive frames while Williams only needs one more.
