World War Z

that cgi looked stupid and unrealistic - more like a video game than real life.
i'm amazed that cgi still has so much trouble mimicking human movement.

It's just stagnated, we had the absolutely brilliant transformers, 5 and a half years ago. Since then it genuinely looks worse all round, part from exceptions like Caesar in Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

I don't think the CGI looks all that bad, the camera was that zoomed out on the Zeds you can hardly tell they are CGI (apart from the fact they could never get that many actors in a pile on :p)

They should film the Mark Tufo (Michael Talbot - Zombie Fallout) series. That way you'd get slow zombies, fast zombies (with the reasons for the difference explained...to a certain degree) and even zombies being lead by another undead with a singular mission. Lots of humour too. I recommend them if you like the genre, although you can miss book 3.5 "Hugo Mann" without losing much.

I also loved this series. The first half of the first book wasn't written very welll but when it got into its stride I loved it.

EDIT: Just seen that Mark Tufo has released Zombie Fallout 6 so I'll be getting that as soon as I've finished World War Z for the second time :)

CGI looks better than I am Legend though. I could not stand the CGI in that film. Horrible, horrible, cartoony CGI, especially for the time of when it was made.

Thats one of the worst trailers I've ever seen, parts reminded me of war of the worlds and other parts of pearl harbor.

The way its shot looks a lot like pearl harbor, can't see this being any good tbh going to be a epic stinker methinks.

Haven't seen such tasteless cinematography for a loooooong time.

Disaster genre not really my thing though.
