World War Z

I actually thought this was brilliant, easily the most dangerous and terrifying take on zombies, the stuff they can do is mental. Slow moving zombies and even the fast ones from 28 days, in real life (in my opinion) couldn't stand a chance at world wide infection, all the zombies would be killed at some point. These kind though? The formations and flood like movement is so effective, it's believable that the virus in this could bring us close to extinction.

8/10 easily.

You need to read the books, so much better and so much detail.
Was disappointed that they didn't even explain zombies or half the cool big scenes in the book, many of which could have easily of been incorporated in the film.

The zombies were good but the movie itself was a bit naff. The whole thing felt more like a pilot episode to series than a blockbuster movie.

Just watched it while having dinner and it was ok. Mostly action and not really much character development. Was ok for somit to watch but nothing special imo. Id give it a 6 or somit.

You just reminded me, bought for my kindle...a book that ive been meaning to get on my kindle for some time now.

I really love the book but I watched the movie last night, what a disappointment, the acting wasn't great. the story had nothing to do with the book and the zombies was pretty crap.

The only good part was they filmed part of it where I used to work in sandwich but I cant think of anything good to say about the film.. :-(

I enjoyed the film, I thought it was good. 7/10 from me.

I have just ordered the book from Amazon £3.85

I thought it was excellent, though I'm a huge fan of virus and zombie genre movies, I've watched it twice though which is something I rarely do.

I haven't read the book (but I'm going to) but I did enjoy the film, I'd give it a 7/10 for enjoyment.

There are many things 'wrong' with it, but it's a zombie film so it's allowed some room.

I was kind of hoping it would have lasted longer and explained more, it alludes to patient zero a lot but never actually goes any further.

Certainly not a bad film.

Well I read the book a while back and came to watch this expecting complete rubbish. But I enjoyed it - it was so far removed from the book to be completely different. A terribly rushed ending though and rather contrived.

This has definitely got me on the lookout for a copy. Love zombies in every shape and form :p.

People are saying that this is riding on the book to grab more viewers, but tbh I and many others hadn't even heard of the book until we heard of this, and I'll soon be holding a copy so if anything, the movie is doing the book all the favors here!

Both me and the GF watched this Saturday, thought it was pretty good.

However we had watched Fast & Furious 6 the previous night, so maybe expectations were a little lower than usual :o
