Worst lager in England?

I'm going to add Red Stripe and Corona to my 'ridiculously overrated beers' list.

Stella
Fosters
Carling
Staropramen

Staropramen on your worst beer list? I had one a couple of weeks ago, first time in ages and I couldn't taste other beers after that. It killed my tastebuds with too much (good) flavour! :D

Yep it sure is. I think it's foul.

Each to their own though, everyone has their own tastes (pun intended).

For example, i quite like Red Stripe on tap, delicious.

Hopefully no longer drained from the slurry pit its made in, but I remember something horrible I drunk about 20 years ago called wrexham lager.

I was expecting to be the first person to suggest Wrexham Lager. I remember finding it in a pub in the Brecon Beacons mid 90s - the memory still lives with me today. It was partnered by Allbright Bitter :D

blimey I can tell none of you are from the North East where Ace Lager reigned supreme as the tramp juice of choice

a mighty 3.4% and no taste you got from it was the can it was put in.

Fosters and carling would be my least favourite.

Heineken and Guiness are my drinks of choice.

Indeed, Fosters and Carling are ****, I really don't know why people bother with them.

I used to really like Heineken but after drinking it in Holland it's now in the **** category with Fosters and Carling.

Fosters is the worst for me, gives me a bad head after even just 1 pint :/ Plus it tastes awful.

I love how the real ale drinkers are just slating all lager; it's a brewing process - you can't say they're all crap. That's like saying real ale is crap because you don't like Stones bitter.

It's been so long since I had one of the big name lagers. The last one which offended me in a big way was a pint of Tuborg I got free with my dinner in Wetherspoon's a few years back. I managed half of it until I moved on to something else.

People looking down on lager make me laugh. Lager is a kind of beer and there are a lot of fantastic examples of it around, Harviestoun's Schiehallion has to be one of my favorite.

I went to the Newcastle Beer Festival last night and with the exception of Thornbridge's Kipling and Jaipur everything I had was pretty much a bland watery mediocre waste of time. Was glad to get out of the place.

Since drinking a lot of beers from around the world I am becoming very hard to please when it comes to drinks but a decent pint of Budvar or something similar is often my savior in bars.

Would take a carlsberg over a fosters any day of the week.

This

Fosters is the worst... No wonder the ozzies 'ship it over here' and don't drink it themselves!

Edit... If I was going to have a larger then I might be tempted with a desperados! (over a corona)
