im not sure i want a used one tbh mate, the fact that its a year old worries me after my geforce blowing recently

To be honest mate I really wouldnt worry too much about your CPU....if you slot in a Radeon 5850 or GTX 460 it will munch through current games along with the Q6600 (its still a quad-core processor after all).

Then why not take my twin frozr? for £4 extra, you're getting better performance and a much quieter card.

No problem!

The Evga GTX 460 is a good deal.

Remember you will need two 6-pin pci-e power connections from you power supply to run the card.

Does your power supply have them?

You NEED two of the six pin connections for the card!

ermmmmmmmm would you not go any lower ? its the worry of it packing in on me after a couple of month that puts me off mate, cos my other card just packed in on me..with new at least i know its got 1 years guarentee

The twin frozrs are new. They've been used for about 10 hours gaming then I got a gtx 580 Hehehe

Got all the box, manuals, cds, anti static bag. The Lot.

If you have problems with it within the first 2 weeks then I will give a full refund. Also I can give you my email address for any further problems.

The card should come with at least one 6 pin adaptor, if you need another one you can buy it (they are very cheap).

But you will need two molex>6 pin pci-e power adaptors.

no motherboard has a 6 pin power connector only for gfx

Yes they both require same power supplies.

so if i buy this 5850 will it plug straight in and have everything i need ? sorry to sound like a noob....

also just looked on that benchmark site its quite a lot quicker that the GTX 460 for a lot of things

also i don't think the psu will handle it.... dell uses 200-300w cheap psu.
