I'll most likely re-roll on Quel'Thalas, I've been there pretty much since the beginning (excluding a year of getting ganked on Burning Legion lol) and most of my friends are still playing on there.

Its PvE mate, currently I have a couple of 80's sitting on there:

I left on good terms with a friendly horde guild and know of at least one active member from my place of work.

PvP can be fun but it depends on class balance and from my experience if you are levelling one of the weaker classes on your own things start to get a little tricky and eventually you'll log off after getting ganked by that bloody rogue for the nth time 
If you are more likely to be with someone else (ideally a group of 3 or more) then it certainly adds to the excitement and tbh it is an MMO?! Having said that on a PvE server there is nothing to stop you flagging yourself PvP...

It's the population I have most of an issue with on PvP servers - far & away the most elitist bunch of pricks you'll find in WoW. Clearly not everyone, of course, but definitely a higher proportion. RP servers are definitely more mature, though I've never tried an RP PvP server. My vote would be Argent Dawn, but it's already full

will you all be re-rolling on release I'm assuming? I may well tag along. Played it to the top level on the 2nd best raiding guild on my server back in tbc. Fell out of love with the game over the course of wrath and how the community changed. But with a nice, relaxed new crowd could be tempted to start again.
Work away and live with the lass so wouldn't play very often but fancy a nice slow level and just enjoy the redesigned game.

I'm downloading the trail as I type this anyone fancy meeting me on any server to have a bash as a team not to keen on joining a old game as a newbie.

I have been thinking about this so much its driving me crackers.
The only thing thats discouraging me is that i gave my account to someone who would use it, so i think i need to buy all of the games again (Vanilla, TBC, WotLK and obviously Cata)...is this right?

You would need to buy everything then I think.
You can get WoW, BC and WotLK for £20 now though, then you need to buy Cataclysm.
That server is full any other, tho not to sure about RP, I not the type to roll play
That's the only one I've got chars on at the mo, I don't roleplay either but the community's better on RP servers.
cant get on rolled a priest on a different server got him to level 3 now I think ..wow graphics are poor in the game, going to try a different character now on a different server I guess, will try a horde one this time.
You don't wanna roll a new toon on a new server, as cant get on that one
