All patched up today, going to re-roll when i get home and enjoy the new content.
Am I right in thinking I dont actually need the Catacylsm expansion yet if i dont plan on using one of the two new races (that I guess there is loads off).?

Hmm tempted, which server may I ask and also what's the horde to ally ratio? I have 6 80's which will be costly to move over so will just 2 at a time...oh forget you guise horde right? ^_^

Really even balance from what I gather. One of our officers been on DB for a long time and he thinks it's the best he has found.
im levelling a goblin shammy on another server due to all my money being wound up there.
once i have got to the level cap ill transfer over?
it will be a casual char though as i raid on alliance but would at least like to do heroics 5 mans with peeps i know.

Yeah of course mate, if you are levelling with others bring them.
Eventually i'm sure the raid team will convince you to raid with us as well

I had some good luck with the patcher today and had a consistent speed of 300kb/s(Compared to the 60kb/s I was getting before) and now I will finish my school work, get the game this weekend, and try and catch you guys up in the two weeks I have off.
Well if you have, or are planning to get Cataclysm then you could just install from DVD and patch the remainder, surely?

Thanks, new job and a renegade 10 year old daughter been taking up lots of my time over the last months. Both have settled down a bit now so I will find some time to jump in.
Did start a trail account up last night just to see how much the game has changed.
