WoW Morals

The way I see it is that at that level gear really doesnt matter. A few levels down the line there is gonna be something better so why waste your time fighting over something that is gonna be replaced anyways.

If it was at lvl 45+ i would be a bit more peeved because it takes longer to lvl and get better gear but at the 20's, it doesnt matter.

Thats my attitude really, i haven't logged in since (damn snow making me stay at work), so i imagine i'll log on tomorrow and find he's mid 30's by now anyway, making his whole attitude a bit silly.

If it was something higher level i'm almost certain this wouldn't have occured, for one thing it takes donkeys to level up leatherworking so the likelyhood of having something better is slim, it only happened in this case because i collected tons of medium leather for the first time and could take advantage of the high skilled recipes i'd been hording.

Personally I dont mind if someone selects need on one or two items but it really annoys me if they select it on just about everything. Personally though I would always ask before selecting need. If someone selects need too often and I am party leader I just change to round robin or kick the person who keeps doing it as its fair on other peeps.

Back to the incident in hand you could use them were planning on using them at the time you were perfectly right to select need. Now if you had stuck em on the AH the same day maybe this guy would have had something to complain about.
