MORE INFO. they are now staying at there guild mates house still in lincolnshir. they are coming back for supplies tonight.

WoW names are
Jarret = Eldrohir
Josh = Sicilis
Eldrohir = Level 60 Night Elf Rogue.
Sicilis = Level 60 Human (?) Warlock.

I've had WoW since last year now, i never once got soo addicted that i didnt go out with mates, or forget to shower etc, granted i stayed up till 4am a couple times playing, but thats not really a long time to play if i started at midnight. I just dont see how people can get addicted, i've just recently cancelled my subscription and sold the game because i got bored of it, i was like level 47 and playing the game seemed more of a chore at that level as the emphasis is on leveling to 60 more and it just bored me fast.
I dont see what is addictive about the game, im more 'addicted' to CS than i ever was to WoW.
 
well everyones different. and they obviously got hooked to the wrong stuff.

in a way. wow can be worse than green or crack imo

well scisilic had a gf to please. i dont know an awful lot about him but im pretty sure it used to be much worse.

he even quit his subscription once, that day everyone was talking about it. the next day we found out he resubbed..

im not sure if this is a lot but on his xfire it says his played a tot of 1078 hours just in wow. i believe he didnt have xfire on all the time he played.

same goes with jarret. his played 1354 hours of wow so far.

EDIT> apparently Josh hasnt been on any games for the past 7 days. what an improvement

Judging by his guild and the fact I don't know who he is, I would say that he has never been overly hardcore/obsessed on his Frostmane character. It doesn't take long for an "addict" to reach 60, and for him to now be in such a low guild indicates he has never been in any of the hardcore ones (he would have the gear and friends to re-join).

You have just said yourself that he is playing less than he used to. How then can you blame the game? You are contradicting yourself.

EDIT: you realise the game has been running for almost 2 years now, right?
 
Don't see the problem with people say WoW ruin lives etc etc. I've been playing for about 2 months and almost have a lvl 60 Priest. I go out atleast 3 times a week with mates thats on the **** friday night and cinema or whatever else other nights and I still find time to play WoW as much as i need to. You don't need to play a lot to get a lvl 60 and good gear, it's called rested exp.

Ive only lvled 2 times in 2 weeks because i've been moving house but again still find time to play, go out with mates and try getting a relationship working. There is a compromise.
 
ive been playing for a couple of weeks but just cant get into the thing, its too much of a tedious job leveling up and all. im a human mage and if anyone has any ideas on how to level up quicker than completing quests.. and fighting anything in your path then im all ears

Hey, Ill give you some tips but I would rather not in this thread because it might derail it. Open a thread in PC Games and Ill post in it with tips
