No the NWO was a faction in WCW (the new world order) contained guys like Hogan, Nash, Hall etc.
NWA is the national wrestling alliance which is a group of independant wrestling promotions which WCW was once a member of. The NWA title is the one which Christian Cage holds today in TNA.

Wrestling = highly trained athletes performing moves you couldn't do in your wildest dreams, putting their bodies and health on the line every night, all in the name of entertainment.

I stopped watching wrestling a long time ago but might have to catch the latest RAW, Davey Boy Smith's son (Harry) is due to fight.

I have been a big fan of WWF/E since I was a kid and I think this ECW direction will be very interesting.
20 man battle royal tonight I think on sky sports. Gonna set sky+ and watch it tomorrow. Also ONS 2 this sunday should be interesting.
Yup wrestling is scripted - but it just makes it more entertaining to watch imo.
Also started watching TNA and its pretty cool. Kind of like the attitude era of WWF with degen X.

Are you guys all aware they're bringing back the ECW 'brand' full time from next week? Supposedly it's WWE-funded, but Paul Heyman ('original' owner/chairman of ECW) will have full control over wrestlers/stories/matches, so it could be pretty interesting. They're showing it wednesday evenings on SS3 I think.
Last years One Night Stand was amazing, and probably the best PPV, but I'm not so sold on this years one. It's just that all the matches involve WWE wrestlers, which seems to ruin the feel of it for me. Oh well.
