WWDC 2015

On night shift so missed it when it was live - watched it up to the Watch OS bit so far - lawd it took them long enough to put proper multi-tasking on the iPad but it looks like they've done it right at least.

If it was really a major compromise I doubt they would have bothered.

Either way still supporting a 5 year old phone is admirable and a lesson to those gippo landfill manufacturers.

The old devices are being supported in iOS 9 because they're still available for sale in some markets or were within the last 6 months.

A noble intent, but it's equivalent to making SW built to run on a 5.7 litre V8 work on the moped that delivers your pizza.

iPad 2 is iPhone 3GS under the bonnet if I remember correctly.

Odd choice from Sonos, even though a new version of iTunes is coming out for OS X/Windows :S

All in all, really looking forward to the new updates. The new Notes app looks fantastic however I don't think it will replace my usage of OneNote (purely as I use it a lot at work on a Windows PC).
New gestures in OS X look great, hopefully they now release a new force touch trackpad and the long awaited updated bluetooth keyboard.

Why is everyone so keen to ditch Spotify?

Can't see any limits on the contactless payment. Are they scrapping the £20 limit for Apple Pay due to the fingerprint?

Spotify is still missing some big names, and because of it I still have to buy the odd track. New releases often take a while to make it on to Spotify too.

So with iTunes, I know neither of those are going to be an issue

£7.99 seems to be the figure being thrown about at the moment for the single membership. It's more likely to be £9.99

Well i was not really that impressed.

I am getting fed up with year on year updates to OS X, I also felt that really all of the extras the 10.11 where things that could have gone in yosemite, its issues resolved and moved back to every other release. I also felt many of the enhancements they made were actually takes from recent releases of Windows.

The rest of it generally felt like tinkering and tidy ups really.

Apart from watchOS 2, I was actually most excited by the changes to Notes :o

Clickable bullet lists and the ability to draw is going to be handy.
