I have no issue with this at all - makes good business sense. Btw I have a 4S.

I think they're all the A1429. Double check on your box though to be sure.

The code is on the back of your phone at the bottom as well if you can't find the box. Think there are a number of places online hosting the ispw.

Apple's marketing obviously think otherwise. Also, the 4S is two years old now which is getting on a bit in mobile phone terms. Think of it like this, how many two year old Android handsets would even get the latest OS update at all, let alone just be missing a few features?

Why? The 4S has the low power Bluetooth 4.0 profile so I don't see why it would be an issue.

im just on the latest. Make sure your phone is up to date first, ie 6.1.3 or whatever it is

then do an upgrade, not a restore. point it to the 7 ipsw, bingo

If phones had their UDID registered for a previous developer update, would it still be on their system and allow for iOS7 to install fine?
