Well I got my code just under an hour after purchase but it won't work for me. I've filled out the Problem Code form on his site so I guess I just wait for a reply now. Hopefully he has just made a typo and will send me the code again soon.
 
Hmm, I don't want to be too quick to jump to conclusions, but after about 3 hours of on and off trying to get it to work, I've ended up calling XBox Support to check the code with them, and they've told me that it isn't valid. He has been in constant communication though, giving me a few bits to try and he even checked the code for typo's etc but there weren't any as far as he could see. I really don't want to tar his good reputation, so I'm gonna hold off on saying I've been conned for now. I just hope there is a mistake somewhere and that it can be resolved by him asap as I want my Live service back again.
 
Well I don't see how MS can penalise us for buying the key, how are we to know that it was generated with a keygen? He has a picture on his site that shows loads of legit cards with his web address written on paper in front of them. He's been selling them for ages and there isn't any negative feedback from him. I doubt they'd ban your Live account just for unknowingly purchasing a key that was generated with a keygen. If you were doing it and were fully aware that it wasn't a legal key then sure, but I don't think so in this situation.

No not had anything back from him yet. I sent him an email asking if he had sent me a US code by mistake, and also to send me some pictures of the back and front of the code card as MS want me to email them a copy of both sides so that they can see what's wrong. A little optimistic I know but if it's all above board then there shouldn't be a problem. I emailed him over 2 hours ago. He did, however, offer me a full refund earlier but I asked him to hold off on that for a bit as I would prefer to get the code working. That was before my call to MS.
 
I bought one from him a while back, originally had an issue - he had sent out the same code to me and another person (the other person used it first) so it wouldn't work for me. Took him a few days but he sent a working one eventually.
 
i bought one off him about 1 month ago worked absolutely fine and was as expected. very happy with it and recommended to many a person since.

Microsoft ban you on Live and take away your gamertag! Harsh!
A guy called Andy on here had it happen to him.

It seems the only way you get caught is if somone else (with a legitimate MS Card) tries to use the same code, odds are quite large but it does happen!
 
i mean, can you still use the codes now cos i know MS stopped you from using US codes a while ago.

I know that once they've been registered in the past they dont stop workin till they expire cos my last 2 live subs were original xbox ones from Germany lol but they've just expired last week
 
I bought a sub off him about a month ago. Has worked perfectly and he seems to have lots of happy customers over at AV Forums and other places too.
