X32I Redemption (Cryengine 2) *Space Simulator*

Well we're all looking at it and the consensus seems to be that it looks great! I just hope you guys don't lose motivation and the mod die out, it looks to have a lot of potential. Keep up the good work. ;)

Only way I'll lose motivation is if people stop taking interest in the project :P.

My inner attention-whore needs feeding too. :D

September Update:

Welcome to the September update for X32I - Redemption, as always managing a team is a interesting experience however a rewarding one at the same time.

This month we have to show you a few assets as well as a concept art for a Terran Chance Fighter called the Scythe produced by JC a highly talented artist.

Thunderbird WIP:

Original Design: Richard Jefferies
Latest Design: TheMightySpud
Optimisation + Interior Cockpit: Bernhard Raml

The Thunderbird is a Prototype ship created by the United Earth Alliance greatests minds, the ship is the ship the player will fly throughout the game. The ship is module based and can be customised by it's pilots with new parts to further upgrade it's potential as a frontline ship.

Wasp WIP:

Model Created by Ben Rymill:

The wasp is a nimble ship which relies on it's high speeds to act as a scout ship, equiped with light weaponary the wasp is not a ship one should fear if they are alone, however in large numbers the wasp can be a formiddable foe, especially if your ship lacks in speed.

Terran Chance Scythe Concept Art:

Art by: JC

Wasp + Thunderbird Ingame: WIP

This is a very early shot, currently we have new asteroids being made as I type this, the ones in the shot are crysis rocks used as placeholders for the real models, also the ships are using a placeholder texture to test uv maps.

Note:

So that's it for this month, we hope you like what you see and if you want to talk to us directly the best palce to post is on the official forums located at http://www.x32i.org/index.php?option=com_agora&Itemid=59

So thanks for looking and we hope you continue to follow this MOD. :)
