On the game screenshots, it looks absolutely fine. The other pics don't look that bad really... I've seen far worse for sure. And that's obviously not representative of how you use the monitor.

If your actually complaining about glow on an IPS panel in the dark with the last 2 pictures your taking the complete **** .Get your money back and buy a VA or TN panel and stop whining... Plus 1.9 is a better gamma setting for the X34p .

Thx. On gamma 1.9 the bleed is more visible for me. Thats why is on 2.2

Yes it is a bit boring now. To repeat both of them are good for IPS UW panels. If it really bothers you then you would be better with a VA panel (which have other problems but better blacks).

my final update on this one:
the replacement monitor started to flicker on 120hz after 2 weeks of use, Acer customer service told me it's a firmware issue and I have to send it to the repair centre = minimum 2 weeks without monitor and there is zero guaranty it will work or be back undamaged. Oh i don't thinks so. If it's just a firmware anyone could do it.
I#m done with Acer .. what a shambolic company. Now I understand why everyone say @buy from Dell@

Hate to break it to you but all IPS monitors have glow to some extent. I have multiple monitors IPS / VA panels.

The other posters who have tried to help you are correct when they say you should go for VA panels as it seems to bother you so much.
