does the xbox guide button do anything on the pc yet?

With the wireless pads it just brings up the little status applet thing that I've posted pictures of. You can NOT assign actions to it as a standard button using the MS drivers.

Just had an email saying mines on its way now.

Cannot wait as I hate the clutter of a wired controller and have 2 x 360 wireless controllers.

Does anyeone know if you can use just 1 controller for both your 360 and the PC crossfire receiver or do you have to resync the wirless signal everytime you use it on the other machine or vice versa.

I've just read up that this is compatible with all 360's wireless accessories, so if I get the wireless steering wheel does anybody know if the force feed back will work with GTR2 ?

somsone please answer this! if so, then oh god that will be awsome!, sat at a lan convention with a wireless setup with the pad, steeringwheel, controller and a few other parts lol... :D

Hey,

Yeah it works with all the wireless stuff (pads, wheel and headset at present). I tried to get the Force Feedback to work, but without any luck... there is no option to enable it in the control interface :(

if your refering to the controller...yup ff is only available in..guess what...the xbcd drivers....told you the standard ones were rubbis :p

Got mine this morning.

Works really well and if you have 2 controllers then you do not need to resync to your receiver as it remembers the last controller used.

Only downside is that you have to remove the batteries to turn it off unless you wait 10 mins or so for it to do so.

recieved mine this morning, found it to be a nice piece of kit. When i ordered it i thought it would be at least the size of the other microsoft wireless recievers for mice and the like. Havent had chance to test a headset as i dont own one. If i was to get one i have a question, is it possible to only have ts and vent sounds to come through the headset, while other sounds come out the speakers?

I bought a wired one for the pc a while ago and that has done me well, but with the wireless one i can sit on the sofa and play without snagging on cables.

EDIT: for your comments on force feedback it isnt an issue with me as ive never really used it so it isnt such of a con to me personally.

lowrider, double posts over 17 minutes, wtf?! :p

Rax, yeah there is a way; read back over the thread and there's a dude who says he's set it up that way (there's also a link to his post in my pros/cons section).

Got mine as well.

It works fine after some messing around I have got Teamspeak sound on my headset and game sounds coming through speakers. a freind of mine is coming on soon so we are goignt o test how the mic handles noise reduction and the like.

The pad seems ok and works fine in games ive tried so far (Race Driver 3).

One question, How do i turn the pad off?

did u get the mic working

ive got sound just when i record myself on sound recorder or use msn it comes out really really messed up and really fast on sound recorder

any light shed on this would be ace thanks
