X360 Crossfire Wireless Gaming Receiver - Mini Review!

This is the best application I have come across for this controller.
Also runs as a self contained .exe from whatever folder you choose to put it in.
Lets you reconfigure the triggers as buttons and lets you remap the entire keyboard to any button on the controller. Also includes an x360 screen image for the program so you can see what button does what when you press it on screen before you launch ther game. It has let me play many PC games on the wireless gamepad. Just recently completed Prey, Resident Evil4, RS6 Vegas. Tomb Raider Legend and many others. You can even setup a button to act as the quick save key!!
Some of the other x360 controller apps do not work with the wireless controller only the USB one.

I emailed the company I bought it from, told them exactly what I'd done and they agreed to swap it for me. Didn't expect them to but it shows what a polite email in the right direction can do.

Also that Xpadder software is sheer bloody genius http://xpadder.com/index.html I now have my controller setup to act as a mouse and I can see it being a huge help for me as I suffer from RSI now and then... just tried a quick browsing session with it and it's very do-able! All I need to do is figure out how to speed up the sensitivity of the controller stick to move the mouse pointer quicker and i'll be set.
All-in-all I am VERY imppressed with this kit so far... the responsiveness of the pad is excellent (no lag that I can detect, and on Trackmania you'd notice if it were there) and it has made GRID a pleasure to play... I actually finish in the Top 5 now.
9/10 for this kit... best things i've bought in ages!

Will second that motion, 360 pad is the best controller I've ever held, beats Dreamcast by far. Even works with GH3 Guitar.
Why charge £50 for wireless adapter but only £10 for this genius piece of kit? It make-a no sense!
