To use it with MSM you need to select your voice record and playback to the headset in audio devices.

I initially installed the receiver plugged in to the USB hub on my monitor, but now I want to hide it away behind my desk somewhere. However if I move the receiver from one port to another, the pads can no longer sync! I tried lots of things like uninstalling software, trying different ports etc. but nothing works. The pads only sync when plugged in to the EXACT same USB port which I initially installed the device on muchos annoying

gavinpoo said:I got one of these receivers today. Cut just below the line on the packaging and went straight through the cable. Gutted!
From the looks of it, even if I'd cut straight across the 'cut here' line I would still have gone through it so might try and blag one from Microsoft. I'm sure they'll tell me where to go though!!

makes me sound like a robot, have to unplug controller, reboot, then ventrilo is back to normal
soon as i plug pad back in, i go all roboty again, must be something to do with the headset port (which i wouldnt use), gonna try those xbcd ones later
