XB1 Or PS4 Controller ?

Uninstall it all and when you install it again untick the Bluetooth box.

Bugger all still, SCP doesn't pick anything up and windows still recognises it as just a 'wireless controller' rather then changing to 360 controller as it should.

Will try tonight :)

I'd used a 360 controller for the last maybe 9 years, the ds4 just feels so much more comfortable to me. So quite desperate to get it back up and running on w10!

Just setup my ps3 controller via Bluetooth on Windows 10. Once I figured out you needed to install without signing drivers I was golden. Could have been easier though.

Love having it mimic the xbox controller, for native game support.

Probably going to get the ps4 controller today because of Ray battery and Bluetooth support. Anything I do prefer how the xbox one controller handles I have to admit.

Did you use the SCP driver?

Now then... it appears some games have some delay/latency with Xbox360 pads.
DarkSouls 2 is one such example and 'allegedly' PS pads didn't have this issue.
Bit strange as Xbox pads are microsoft and sort of 'native' to Windows.
Does make me wonder what other games have this problem.

In light of this I use an Xbox 360 pad anyway for simplicity and it's what I have to hand. If it dies/breaks (likely never) I'll probably switch to a PS4 pad to give it a go.

Perhaps worth borrowing a friends if possible and giving it a go first.

Been thinking about picking up a PS4 controller just to try it, but since I have big hands I'm wondering if it's worth the effort or not.

Also have big hands, the ds4 (for me) is far more comfortable then a 360 controller.

Given up with scp for now, it ain't happening, will retry when I install my Bluetooth module.

I switched from MIJ/BDS3 to SCP after having troubles. But SCP keeps crashing with DiRT Rally for some reason so I switched back to MIJ/BDS3 which works fine with it and the troubles turned out to be the ancient Sixaxis dying and after replacing with a newer DS3 its been golden. The battery life is much better too. Lasts for hours.

personally id try both controller if you can and see which one you like the feel of best that's all it comes down to in the end.

So my PS4 controller arrived today, I love how sensitive the triggers are, but it makes me wonder that my Xbox One triggers are broken or something.

My Xbox One triggers don't really do anything from 0-20% pressed, or from around 70-100% pressed, it seems that 50% in the middle is where all of the press occurs, which makes it really inaccurate for games.

Otherwise, the PS4 controller is nice, but it still feels a little like my left thumb is stretching a lot to reach the analogue stick.

ive got both i find the xbox one controller better, the ps4 whilst playing cod kept doing melee when i shot. I was instinctively squeezing the pad when firing, i dont know why haha. I found buying ps4 thumb grips helped a lot but using the xbox one controller it dosent happen.

Xbox controller wins hands down. Plug and play + in game button prompts actually match.
I tried using a ps3 controller on pc, it worked well but after about 15 years of playstation it's hard to see X on screen and make the conscious decision not to press it. I'm using an xbox one controller atm it feels very well built, just a pitty wireless dongle only works on the cancer that is windows 10.

Xbox 360 controller in imo

Microsoft dropped the ball with the xb1 controller feels nowhere near as nice to hold as the original, can pick up the original controller dirt cheap.

my oldest has an xbox 360 so I just pinch one of his controllers. hes getting a ps4 for his xmas so after that once I pinch a 360 controller hell not come looking for it as quick
