Ooooo very interested in this, was looking at the xspc block the other day too. You need to get it built quick so I can find out how well it works

be careful about painting the harddrive red, i do believe most harddrives do have openings?
so painting/spraying it may damage it. maybe check before doing it.
i've always thought about modding my old 360 into a quieter case but i think it'd be a waste as i wouldn't use it that much seeing as i have the new one
Im not painting the hard drive .. just the enclosure.. sorry shouldve made that more clear!

surely that will kill the hdd within weeks from dust etc?? It would be cool though
I've seen it done before, you just need to be extremely careful!

I've had one running with the cover off and it looks awesome. Very tempted to do it but really don't want to kill a decent HDD. I should do it to an old one and put it in just for show!

Hard drive. first coat done and final coat on the other stuff.. Will get second caot on hdd case and install hard drive tomorrow... pics coming tomrorrow.

The xspc cpu and gpu block is specifically for the xbox. Overclockers don't sell them
but quick google should find you some.Looking forward to the update. I still don't quite know how you are going to fit it all inside lol.

How should i attach the acrylic panel... super glue or glue gun??
EDIT:
Tried hot glueing it in place... but the glue gun was broken!!
Anyway i took the acrylic cover off one side only...
here is what it looks like..
Wierd though how the paint looks pink on this when it looks red in real life!?!

It is starting to look really good now
