Hey.
Got an xbox 360 mod in store for you....

Special thanks to shinester184 for swapping pump tops with me as mine didnt fit!

Plan is for a fully internal watercooling system using a 2 x 40mm radiator and the xspc cpu/gpu waterblock.

I have seen many watercooled 360s but hardly any are fully internally watercooled... but instead have ugly tubing coming out of them which is a mess.

Here is my progress so far...

Still needs another coat of paint

lol greg the laser cutter would struggle with that

benq model of the dvd drive is shaped so that it gives the dremel a nice guide

Is there anything stopping you using a normal rad and just leaving it sitting outside the case ?

No.
But I would much prefer to have a fuly internally watercooled system.

Will this be quieter than normal ? I don't see the benefits of doing all this.
Most of the noise(for me) comes from the DVD drive.

Yes it will be quieter... I have also swapped the dvd drive for a much quieter one.

Update!!

So I had the privilege of using an £18,000 laser cutter to cut out the window!!

And here is the finished result :eek:

Just to give a taster of the colour!!

Also... Here is my hard drive enclosure with window..

Oh but wait!! There's more!

As you can see there are some leds in there!! Red infact.. so the hard drive will glow red!!

Next job... to paint the hard drive red!!

And another coat for the whole thing

You HAVE to put a plexi cover on the HDD rather than a solid one! If you are careful, this can be done easily!

surely that will kill the hdd within weeks from dust etc?? It would be cool though

be careful about painting the harddrive red, i do believe most harddrives do have openings?
so painting/spraying it may damage it. maybe check before doing it.

i've always thought about modding my old 360 into a quieter case but i think it'd be a waste as i wouldn't use it that much seeing as i have the new one
