Could you name 5 AAA and 5 AA or A any platform and a brief description of why it is or is not AAA? Is there an official way a title is AAA? Is there something like the Oscars for them maybe?

exactly my point, everyone enjoys games in different ways, there is no such thing. what one person thinks is great annother may hate!

Here are some games and my definition of them (I think really it comes down to level of hype more than anything)

AAA - GoW, Oblivion, Dead Rising
AA - GRAW, Rainbow 6 COD2
A - Condemed, Kameo

I reckon a good indication is peoples xbox sigs on here, you can see which games are being played the most and that can give you a good indication of how popular a game is...

I consider an AAA title to be a game that excels above all/most others. A game that stands out from the crowd.

It's usually the game everybodys playing, so I suppose hype does come into it. GoW for example, I personally think It's a hyped up pile of crap, but many others disagree, and would say It's an AAA title.

I imagine Halo 3 will be an AAA title because it's hyped to **** and everyone will be playing it.
