I used winhex to extract the images from the game save. You still get a few corrupt ones, but 80% are perfect. It automates the process too - just tell it to extract and save any jpg it finds to a folder on your desktop.

Widget, could you try something for me mate? (Or anyone with Xplorer360 actually).

Could you use it to take an image of the memory card, and then tell me what extension it uses for the file? I want to try opening one of the images made through the Datel software using Xplorer360, just to see if it can open it.

I still can't get the drivers to change to the ones stated in that tutorial. I've uninstalled the devices from Device Manager, however when I go to select the other drivers, it won't show me the driver list, only the Datel driver :mad:

. And for some reason, when I try to install it on my laptop, the Standard Disk Drive catagory isn't there!

Is it me or is the anti aliasing in this game non existent when racing, I thought the graphics were so terrible im taking this game back.

if you playing on regular telly then it does look bad but on somat that can display 720p and up its preety good

you're taking a game back purely because it "looks bad", in your opinion?

did you refuse to play all your spectrum games or C64 games because they "looked bad"? and what on earth did you do with pong? Chuck the machine in the bin!?

Must admit to still be playing on a non-HD 100Hz 36" CRT telly - but to say it looks bad is ridiculous!

you dont get my point, all other games have almost full AA and i paid £50 for pgr3 and it doesnt meet nex gen standards so shut up please.

I have a 40 inch hdtv samsung and it looks awful in races but perfect in select your car screens.

Christ, give the guy a break. Some people don't mind the known AA problems with PGR3, and obviously he does mind enough for him to get his money back. It is a silly problem, I personally wouldn't go out and get my money back, as the gameplay on the game is pretty good anyway.

I realise his last post is rude, though I think that was more aimed at PuncH, and my post was aimed a little more at PuncH also.
