I realise his last post is rude, though I think that was more aimed at PuncH, and my post was aimed a little more at PuncH also.
Fair play - you're right. It's amazing that at times people can get so wound up about what is essentially just playing games on toys. ;)

Yaka, what lead is that with? Comp or VGA?

the component lead that came with the x360, i think vga is supposed to be sligly better but by the time they were in stock i had the x360 lead hiddene away behind my desk so cant be arsed switching over.

i post these pics elsewhere as well and peeps have prob beliving its over component for some reason

Is it me or is the anti aliasing in this game non existent when racing, I thought the graphics were so terrible im taking this game back.

Are you on xbox live gold and have a HDD....Because there's a demo you could have downloaded and tryed first...

I have a 40 inch hdtv samsung and it looks awful in races but perfect in select your car screens.

Indeed, the game looks rather rubbish on the samsung microsoft use with their display demo units too. I have no idea why, but it looks fine on my TFT, the samsung seemed to emphasize the jaggies for some reason.

Very nice for component, I'd have said VGA :), I use component atm, and my colours are really vivid, whereas yours looks like I want it to. Just ordered a VGA to see if that is any better.

what happens when all 3 cars take a tight corner on live

Making me envy you lot, i want a 360! keep the shots coming!

by the way, the comment on the Samsung "pod" units i have seen in various retailers are all the same quality, the picture is nice, but they are all VERY jaggy? you would have thought they would set it up nicely to
A.) take advantage of the nice screen and 360
b.) Set it up so that you get best picture so that customers buy more..

i mean it didnt put me off cause i know they must be incompetant or not very good at setting them up. i played PGR 3 and loved it (didnt mind the jaggies) but i think because the pod unit have the demo software its impossible to access the setting to set them up ( i tried it ;) ) so maybe this is why everyone plays them instore and complains or is put off

just food for thought :)

Jaggies are still in the game when playing normal, you just don't see them on these pics as the photo mode does some anti-aliasing to cheat and make the game look prettier when it's paused :)

hmmm, i still dont think the Samsung picture was set up correctly though, as i have played the 360 with games like battlefield 2 and oblivion and they look very good considering my little 15" Tv (crt) is nothing great! friend brought it over and jaggies werent as noticable on my Sdtv downstairs (48" Panasonic) either, but when i played on the Samsung pod they have in stores it seemed aweful jaggies (nice screen though, have seen better pictures on it at mates house)

Off topic I know, but a related request ...

I always find racing with a group of decent people more enjoyable as you tend to avoid deliberate wreckers/rammers.
So if you are not mega fast (I really struggle to get gold time trial times) and want to join my friends list, I am Majikthese on live!

hmm just take em anyways. and post em up!

all i basicly do before taking apic is switch the light off and turn off camera flash. if you have a fine mode on your camera then use that and snap away

btw nice uber high live score:)
